Kalliades aus dem Demos PlotheiaIV Sekretär war; im Elaphebolion am [einund?]zwanzigsten,dem neunundzwanzigsten (Tag) der Prytanie; Volksversammlung im (Theater des) Dionysos; von denVorsitzenden leitete die Abstimmung Charias S.d. Heniochos aus dem Demos Pelekes und seine Mitvorsitzenden. Beschlußdes Volkes; Neoptolemos S.d. Phileas aus dem Demos Deiradiotai stellte den Antrag: Worüber Bericht erstattetder Festspielleiter, nämlich über die Opfer, die er opferte dem Dionysos und den anderenGöttern, denen es traditionell Brauch war, zu Glück und Heil!, wolle beschließen das Volk: dassman das Gute billige, das geschehen ist bei den Opfern, die er opferte für das Heil und die Rettungdes Rates und des Volkes der Athener und für die Kinder und die Frauen〚und für den König Antigonos und die Königin Phila und ihreNachkommen〛; – Da aber der Festspielleiter am höchsten gehalten hat dieFrömmigkeit gegenüber den Göttern und gezeigt hat sein Wohlwollen und seinenEhrgeiz, den er für das Volk der Athener hegt, und alle traditionellen Opfergeopfert hat in der ihm zukommenden Zeit in guter und frommer Weise; er auchmitveranstaltet hat die Vorstellung (der Dichter und Schauspieler) bei den Opfern gemäß dem traditonellen Brauch; er auchSorge getragen hat für die Dionysischen und die anderen Festspiele in guter und ehrgeizigerWeise: dass man belobige den Festspielleiter Agathaios S.d. Autokles aus dem Demos Prospaltawegen seiner Frömmigkeit gegenüber den Göttern und seines Ehrgeizes für den Ratund das Volk der Athener; dass er auch, wenn er die Rechenschaft für seine Amtsführunggemäß dem Gesetz abgelegt hat, auch noch andere Privilegien bei dem Volk finden wird, deren erfür würdig erachtet wird; dass diesen Beschluss der Sekretär, der während der Prytanieamtiert, aufzeichne auf eine steinerne Stele und aufstelle in dem Heiligtum des Dionysos;dass für die Anfertigung und die Weihung der Stele der Finanzverwalter dieentstandenen Kosten begleiche.vacat 0,012

Neoptolemos son of Phileas of Deiradiotai proposed: concerning whatthe competition director reports about the sacrifices which he made to Dionysos and the othergods to whom it is traditional, for good fortune, the People shall decide: to acceptthe good things that occurred in the sacrifices which he made for the health andpreservation of the Council and the Athenian People and the children and women〚and for king Antigonos and queen Phila and their〛〚descendants〛; and since the competition director, placing high valueon piety to the gods and displaying the good will and love ofhonour that he has for the Athenian People, made allthe traditional sacrifices at the appropriate times well and piously, andaccomplished the pre-games sacrifices during the rites according to tradition, and managedthe Dionysiac competitions and the others well and with loveof honour, to praise the competition director Agathaios son of Autokles of Prospaltafor his piety to the gods and love of honourfor the Council and Athenian People; and when he submits the accounts for histerm according to the law he shall obtain from the People whatever benefit he is deemedworthy of; and the prytany secretary shall inscribe thisdecree on a stone stele and stand it in the [sanctuary of Dionysos];and for the making and erection of the stele the administratorshall allocate the expenditure accrued.vacat 0,012
